  • Gomez, did you grow the hops?
What's your opinion on using it?
Can you confirm that THC is actually there?
Sorry to write in English, but I can't speak German.
It's so hard to find any information on this topic that I created a special account on this portal to ask about it.
Hops with THC seem so amazing to me.

  • I think this is about cannabis from kalyseeds but what about the hops? Anyone use this and confirm the contents of thc or is it fake news?

okay but you don't have to smoke it. Maybe you can make edibles out of it. the fact that you don't have to hide while growing something that contains thc and not be afraid of the cops is amazing.

  • EzahNomel:

    Hi Ezahl,

    Please excuse the delay.

Hops are great for gardening and look good in the garden. I have to say, however, that I couldn't try the harvest because I am currently doing an abstinence period. Now it is so that a friend has tried it and could not find the right effect. So just try it yourself, I also had an extremely large number of seeds, which, according to Kaly, reduces the active ingredient content.

  • Does it grow big and is the harvest big? I think you can try to make butter or some other extract from it, even if the content od the active ingredient is lowered by the seed.

eh, it's a pity that only next year I'll be able to try growing hops. This year I found out about it too late. All seeds are sold out... : <<<

  • I don’t find any kind resin on my seedless hop buds. Shurely, i still hasn’t smoke it, just gnawed some(and let me say, they tase like spinach) but i experiented no kind of impact whatsoever. Don,t worty about the hop being sold out. The only thing you imho miss, is spending money on it😏

Buy some of his Swag Type Strains instead. They still not look like hemp, until they start to flower. Then, you has better selected a “Froschmonster” type flower, with no massive budding. Or you just keep your plants in veggi and process the leafs. Mature top leafs contain enough resing to have a mild effect when smoked or eaten. Especially when you stress the plant a little.

Don’t worry about hermies. The pollen of polyploid hermies is not fertile. This is an easy selection criteria, since the leafs of polyploid plants are more potent and the buds are much less expressed, like on the the said Froschmonster.

    Ente gut. Alles gut.

  • have you tried to gnaw them raw? Maybe that's the reason. Ordinary marijuana raw also never works. You should be familiar with the decarboxylation process and extract it with oil or alcohol.

So you're saying Kaly is lying that the hops contain cannabinoids?

  • I am shure Kaly has strong believes in the Thc in his hops🤗

Ordinary marijuana raw also never works

It has a reduced impact, but it is not none. But let this aside, i also did not find the aromatic taste of cannabinoids, which should be present anyway. There was only green taste.

In one of his videos, he shows how he sieves the hop flowers to get a potent powder, of sticky matter. This does not happen with my flowers. No powder, not sticky. Like i sayed, there is no trace of resin on the buds.

I suspect he has a different breed, directly from grafting, not one from the seeds. Mabe this is, why he offers the hop so cheap, meanwhile his potent strains go over the counter for over 100 bucks😏

I will see if grafting the hop on a hemp base will show different results. But expect them not anywhere soon, since i have little time for this. That it should be grafted for results, he suggests in earlyer time, when is hop was not promoted with this trait and basically costs the same.

    Ente gut. Alles gut.

  • Maybe you mean the terpenes in the cannabis plant. I don't think cannabinoids have any appreciable flavor. There are legal CBD hemp, which contain 2% CBD, and you don't feel the cannabis flavor, but you can feel the effect of the oil.

It has a reduced impact, but it is not none.

okay, but reduced many times. With marijuana at 18 percent THC it is possible to get some noticeable effect, but with a hops at 4 percent you would have to eat 5 times as much.

I think the THC content may be similar to that of fan leaves, which also lack resin, which is very low, which still gives the potential, but only with proper decarboxylation and extraction in oil.

Okay, I'm fantasizing. I just really wish it was true ... :D

In any case, I'd like to check it out for myself.

When did you order the seeds from him and which variety? because it has 3 different.
If you have grown, maybe you have some seeds left to share?
      :) :) :)

  • which also lack resin

There is nill, on the hop. Not just a reduced amount😏

Since Thc is allmost insoluble in water, i don’t see a chance for the japanese hop, to store any. This is different to beer hop, which does produce resin.

In literature, the japanese hop is given no value, for producing cannabinoids, or similar compounds. Thus it is given no medicinal value. I had hope, Kaly had a breakthrue on that matter but was disapointed by the results.

He had some good arguments, that by grafting the transfer of genetic material is possible, in opposite of what i had learned back than. There where new studies since, my teachers could not know of. Still i don’t think he missleading us intentionally. Not after reading through the new material. I don’t know what went wrong. Mabe it is only in the batch i recived confused01 Mabe it is not heritable.

    Ente gut. Alles gut.
